What happens when you spend 12 years in the Guard and active duty? When you do tours overseas but don't see combat? Well, you pretend to be a combat vet and claim to be a SSG right?

Well guess what? That is exactly what Chris here did. As you will clearly see below, Chris claimed everything from MP to 82nd Airborne.

I knew Chris personally and we were good friends for a few years. It's sad really, that it took his wife leaving him and her implications made on a post she left on his Facebook page (before blocking herself from his page) for me to find out the truth.

After having spent years supporting him, standing by his side, working while he stayed at home because of his "injuries", taking verbal and sometimes physical abuse, Chris' wife had enough. She packed her bags and left. She then began doing some reserach through military friends because of some discrepancies in his story, and she found the truth. Chris wasn't a combat vet. He had no combat related injuries. She always wondered why he went to the VA but claimed to be waiting on disability pay for years.

Long story short. This is my personal message to a man I once called "friend".

You are a vet. There was no need to Steal Valor by pretending to be a SSG when you got out as a PV2. You served as supply, accounting, etc. Yeah, you were attached to a MP unit but you were never an actual MP. You lost my friendship, your wife, and the respect of your own son. Now you will live in infamy on our wall and on a few other stolen valor sites as well. I sincerely hope taking money, and other such things, under false pretenses was worth it. There are lawsuits that are currently in effect, as you know, looking to bring you to justice. Your life will change dramatically, it its sad to say. Hope it was worth it, man.
